What is a credit?
Credit is a currency used on Maze to source participants from our panel to use on your different projects. One credit equals one response from a participant. You can buy credits from a bundle, or directly when ordering testers on the live maze page.

How much do credits cost?
You can buy credits in batches of 50, 100, 250, 500, and 1000. The price of credits decreases with volume. If you need more than 1000 credits, please contact us at hello@maze.design.

How many credits do I need?
The number of credits you need depends on how many participants you need to test. One credit will give you one tester. We recommend testing with at least 20 testers to have statistically relevant results. Read more about this here.

Do these credits expire?
No, the credits you purchase never expire. You can use them at any time, for all your projects.

How fast do results from testers come in?
You get the results as soon as your order is placed. Orders are usually fulfilled in hours — sometimes even minutes.

Who is on the Maze panel?
Maze uses Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) to source testers. All participants are carefully sourced to provide real-value insight.

What demographics are covered?
All test participants are English-speaking and mostly US-based. You can filter responses based on sex (all, male, female) and age (18-70) when you place an order. More demographic filters are coming soon.

Can I spend credits on multiple projects?
Yes, you can use the credits you purchase across all your projects, and for all your Maze tests.

What payment options do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards types. If you need to purchase very large bulk of credits, contact us at hello@maze.design.

Can I test with my own participants?
Yes, you can recruit participants from the Maze panel, invite your own participants (free), or both.

Please contact us via the in-app chat button or by email at hello@maze.design if you have more questions about credits and recruiting testers with Maze.
